Driven by Dreams

Growing up, I had a natural respect for truck drivers. My dad was a driver, then a dispatcher and ultimately managed a trucking company. I went on to marry a man who mirrored my father in so many ways. Skip began as a driver, dispatcher, manager and then moved on to establish Powersource Transportation in 1994. Sadly, he passed away in 2014. At that time, I was faced with a life-changing decision: sell the business or commit to it. I was all in.

Fueled by the confidence of our employees and drivers, I allowed my vision to grow. I pictured a new corporate headquarters with a comfortable lounge for drivers, a successful fleet of 130+ trucks, and a business that advanced the futures for the team that had placed their confidence in me. In 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. I saw all three visions come true. I was honored to be awarded the Top Woman-Owned Business by Women in Trucking.

So many have contributed to this success. Today, I remain committed to our team, to honest communication and to moving our collective interests forward. These interests can be summarized in our shared mission.
