Congratulations to our Driver of the Month, Wanda!

Wanda became a truck driver because she loves to drive and travel. She says the open road gives her a sense of freedom and allows her to be in control of her own destiny. She’s been living that dream behind the wheel for 37 years now.

Wanda has been driving with Powersource since June 2025 and operates a 2022 Kenworth equipped with a long slide. She also holds her doubles and triples endorsements!

Family is very important to Wanda. She has four children, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. One of the perks of being a truck driver is getting to travel across the country to visit them along the way.

Wanda lives in Chesapeake, VA, and when she’s not on the road, she enjoys reading and spending time with her grandson, “Poppy.” Together, they love exploring nature, searching for leaves and seashells.
