Congratulations to Driver of the Month, Rickey J.!

Rickey is a second-generation truck driver. His father was a truck driver for 55 years and he has fond memories of driving with him during his summer vacations. He fell in love with early morning driving and knew that he wanted to be a truck driver when he grew up. When Rickey returned home from the military, his father gave him the keys to the truck, and he got his CDL. He has been driving ever since – nearly 40 years!

Rickey has been driving for Powersource since May 2023. He drivers a 2017 Freightliner 122-SD equipped with a light bar, lock out kit, long slide, pintle hook, beacons, ratchets, winches, snow chains, extended mirrors, and OD banners/flags. He also holds tankers, doubles, and triples endorsements!

Rickey lives in Joppatowne, MD. and has nine sons and twenty-seven grandchildren! He loves to be out on the road and stay busy, but when he is not trucking, he enjoys visiting with family.
