Shirley

Congratulations to our August Featured Driver of the Month, Shirley! Shirley’s been trucking for twenty years and has been with Powersource Transportation for a year and a half. She was inspired to become a truck driver because her father was a truck driver. When her children became of age, she decided to go out and see the country! Shirley drives a 2009 Freightliner with a headache rack, long slide, and the ability to block. She also holds Tankers endorsements. Shirley’s favorite type of load is tankers and she also enjoys hauling show trailers. Her favorite part about driving a truck for a living is the scenery across the United States. She loves that she has the freedom to work on her own though her dog, Baby, and cat, Alice, always her company from the passenger seat! Shirley has two children and three grandchildren. When she is not on the road she enjoys camping, fishing, and spending the weekend with her grandchildren!
